NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for class X students from across the country on Saturday.
Results from Allabhad, Chennai, Delhi, Dehradun and Trivandrum regions have been uploaded on the websites. Results of other regions are in process of being uploaded, the board said.
Students can check the results online at www.results.nic.in , www.cbseresults.nic.in or www.cbse.nic.in
A total of 16,67,969 students appeared for the examination, of which 7,81,463 appeared for the school-based exam, while the rest took the board exam.
Students and parents were advised not to visit CBSE offices for knowing the results.”The result will not be available on CBSE premises and the public are advised not to visit the Board’s office for collection of results,” a CBSE statement said.
On May 28, the board had declared the results for class XII which had seen a dip of over one per cent in the pass percentage.
Mental health experts recommend that students should not fret if results are not as expected. “The board exam results are not a milestone. Students must share their fears with family, friends, favourite teachers and counsellors.
