21-year-old Archana tried to stop a wedding in Vikravandi in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram district and persist the groom to marry her. While the groom, Gopalakrishnan denied and his family asked the girl to leave she sat on dharna at the venue not letting the ceremony continue. She claimed that she knew the bride since the past six years and had been in a relationship.
By now the plot looks straight out of a Bollywood movie and what happened ahead can be taken as the climax. The Vikrandi police had to get involved after the woman continues to disrupt the wedding.

In a similar incident, a 22-year-old woman abducted a groom from his own wedding in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh at gunpoint last month. The groom was rescued later by the cops. The woman claimed to be Ashok’s lover and know him for 8 years and hence kidnapped him from his wedding.
