London: Pakistan defeated India by 180 runs to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 cricket tournament here on Sunday.
Put in to bat, Pakistan rode on a century by opener Fakhar Zaman to post a massive total of 338/4 in the allotted 50 overs.
In reply, India were all out for 158 runs in 30.3 overs.
Pacers Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali bagged three wickets each.
Riding on Fakhar Zaman’s brilliant batting, Pakistan posted a challenging 338/4 against India in the Champions Trophy final at The Oval here on Sunday.
Apart from Zaman (114), Azhar Ali (59), Mohammad Hafeez (57 not out) and Babar Azam (46) also contributed handsomely to the Pakistan’s cause.
For India, pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and spinner Kedar Jadhav took one wicket each.
Earlier, India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to field against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final at The Oval here on Sunday.

India made no changes to the team that trounced Bangladesh in the semi-final while fit-again Mohammad Amir made a comeback to the Pakistan team. Rumman Raees made way for Amir.
