Women, children tie ‘rakhi’ on Narendra Modi’s hand on Raksha Bandhan

New Delhi: Women and children from various segments of society on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence here and tied ‘rakhi’ on his wrist on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

 

 

Modi blessed the children and conveyed his best wishes to everyone on the occasion.

“Greetings on Raksha Bandhan,” he tweeted earlier.

On other hand, at the occasion of Rakshabandhan on Monday, a string of celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and Farah Khan, wished their siblings and fans a year full of love and happiness.
