LUCKNOW: Due to the ongoing interlocking and infrastructure development work in Lucknow division, around ten mail, express and superfast trains have been cancelled whereas many others have been short-terminated or diverted.
According to railway officials, the cancellation will take place on November 5 and 6.
Lucknow division of Northern Railway will undertake the work of electronic interlockinginfrastructure work at Ajgain Railway Station on LucknowKanpur section. Trains including Lucknow Jhansi Intercity Express, Lucknow-Agra Cantt-Luck now Intercity Express, Kanpur Central-Pratapgarh Intercity Express, FaizabadKanpur Anwarganj-Faizabad Intercity Express have been cancelled. All cancelled trains are via Lucknow.
Chhapra-Faruk habad Utsarg Express commencing on November 4 will be short-terminated at Lucknow. Consequently, Farukhabad Chhapra Utsarg Express will be short-terminated from Lucknow on November 5. Varanasi-Kanpur Central-Varanasi Varuna Express train commencing on November 5 will be shortterminated at Lucknow.Lucknow-Chitrakoot Express will depart at 7.30 pm instead of 5.30 pm on November 5.
