Lucknow: A Civil Aviation and Institutional Finance Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi in Uttar Pradesh government under Yogi Adityanath has recently received death threat to be blow up with RDX.
Security has been tightened for Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Institutional Finance, Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, after a death threat was posted on his wife’s Facebook page on Thursday.
According to Superintendent of Police (City) Siddhartha Shankar Meena, the threat message was posted by a person named Mohammad Asad ‘Ashu’ on the Facebook account of Nandi’s wife Abhilasha Gupta, who is BJP’s city mayor candidate in the civic body elections, voting for which is scheduled to be held on November 26th.

Abhilasha in an FIR lodged with the Mutthiganj police station on Thursday evening alleged that the suspect warned her of dire consequences and threatened to kill her husband.
Following the complaint, police sprang into action and strengthened security at the minister’s house in Allahabad.
It may be recalled that Nandi had survived a vicious attack in 2012, in which he was seriously injured and two persons had died.
