Mumbai : Anushka Sharma’s wedding with Virat Kohli has put everyone in a state of shock. Though there were rumours that the couple will tie the knot in December, however Anushka always denied the news whenever asked from her. But, her sudden wedding pictures in Italy surprised everyone.
As soon as Virushka’s, wedding pictures went viral, people including celebrities started wishing the couple. From Bollywood celebs to cricket fraternity, including the International players, all wished the lovely couple on their new innings.
But, there was one person who did not wished the couple. And that was Deepika Padukone. T
It has been said that Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone have never really shared a very cordial relationship. This was fueled by further speculation when the two gorgeous actresses ignored each other at one of the matches of the International Premier Tennis League in Delhi, in 2014. Last year, when Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, were quizzed about their ‘friendship’ with Deepika on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan their silence spoke volumes.
Says a source, “While we know that Deepika and Anushka are on good terms today, it was odd that Deepika didn’t wish Anushka on social media, as the rest of the Bollywood stars. All the talk started when Deepika started dating Anushka’s alleged ex-flame, Ranveer Singhbut their relationship is much more amicable today so one would have expected her to wish Anushka on her special day. Till a year ago, Anushka was still passing sarcastic remarks on Deepika with the latter maintaining a calm façade and saying she considered Anushka as a friend but somewhere this year both patched up.”
However an insider clarifies, “Maybe not on social media, but Deepika has wished the happy couple personally and it was a warm message. She texted them both her best wishes individually post the wedding.
