Leopard enters school in Lucknow , later captured

Lucknow : A leopard strayed into the premises of a school in Lucknow’s Thakurganj Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

The forest department officials said that the leopard that entered St. Francis School was spotted walking around the school campus in a footage.

Some teachers and 60 residential students were present at the school for hearing impaired. The school was closed for regular students due to cold. Forest officials are yet to trace the animal. “It is in the basement of the building. We will tranquilise it,” Utkarsh Shukla, deputy director of Lucknow’s Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, said .
