New Delhi: As we all know that on March 23rd every year we observed Martyr’s Day which is popularly known as ‘Shaheed Diwas’ in memory of three freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country.
Our three braveheart freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged till death on March 23rd in the year 1931, by the colonial British in Lahore jail.
Born on September 28, 1907 in Punjab in British India, Bhagat Singh is a well-known freedom fighter who was a revolutionary socialist and played a crucial role during the Indian freedom struggle.
