Mangarh: About 1007 surgeries were successfully performed during a four-day Free Cataract Surgical Workshop organized between 28-31 October at Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC) in Uttar Pradesh’s Mangarh district.
Beside this, near about 108 units of blood were donated to Allahabad Blood Bank during a Blood Donation Camp held under the same banner and at the same venue.
Last year, a Cataract Surgical Workshop was organised from 23-26 February, at Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC) in Uttar Pradesh’s Mangarh district in association with Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Nepal.
Free of cost 1007 eye surgeries, 108 units of blood donation camp organised by JKC:
The Camp was inaugurated by JKP Presidents, Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi on 23rd February.
During this camp, around 1,000 patients had their cataracts removed and got their vision. These patients were provided with completely free pre and post-operative care, medications and glasses.
Established by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, JKC, Mangarh not only organises free Cataract Camps on a regular basis, but the hospital also provides free medical services to thousands of poor on a weekly basis.
Two more hospitals have also been established by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan and Barsana, which also provide free medical care thousands of poor each week.
