Senior SP leader Azam Khan foresees Shivpal Yadav and Akhilesh to unite again

Lucknow: Former Cabinet Minister in previous Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh and senior leader Azam Khan today said that his party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal Yadav will reunite again once some conditions will turn favorable against each other.

When media person asked question to Khan on his opinion about Shivpal Yadav parting ways from Samajwadi Party and forming his own party Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party, he told on Sunday that “When favourable conditions are created both Akhilesh and Shivpal will come together again.”

Khan said that Babri Masjid was demolished by Shiv Sena but BJP kept taking credit for it, he gave his this statement about when asked demanding action against those making objectionable comments against the Supreme Court.

The former Cabinet Minister said that the timing of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) action in mining scam after SP-BSP alliance proves the intent of the government.

Azam, who was in the Varanasi city to participate in Mashrati Council’s meet, said, “Shiv Sena demolished Babri Masjid. BJP never wanted its demolition as it generated votes for it.”

Khan said that the leader of country should make it clear whether Ram Mandir issue is religious or political and weather it should be solved with mutual consequence or everyone will wait for Honorable Suprem Court order.

He urged the SC to take suo motu cognizance of objectionable statements and threats from people on Ayodhya issue but went on to add that the decision on Ayodhya issue should be in favour of both parties.

Reacting to CBI raids, he said that had the Prime Minister’s Office made phone calls earlier for such action, they could have been termed impartial. The CBI swung into action after the alliance and hence fingers are being raised, he added.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is worried because number of parties in his alliance have reduced to 40 from 42 and hence politicians in the alliance are being targeted by CBI. We strongly condemn the CBI investigations and actions initiated just before elections,” Khan said.
