Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a married woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband inside her office in Maharashtra’s Bhayander district on Tuesday over having illicit relationship with another guy.
The accused Kumar Bhoir (32), the accused, has surrendered. He told cops he had suspected Veena (37) his wife of 12 years, of having an affair. Sources known to the couple said they fought often.
Veena had left home on January 2nd after which Kumar filed a missing person’s complaint. When police summoned Veena, she told them she had chosen to leave home. Cops said Kumar went to the CA firm where Veena worked on Tuesday.

According to police officer, the two got into a heated argument that eventually led to Kumar stabbing her. “He fled the scene and later, surrendered to the police. The knife has been recovered.”
On Tuesday, Kumar waited outside the chartered accountancy firm’s office near Bhayander station where Veena had been working for eight years. At 10.30am, as she opened the office and entered, and Kumar, who works as a salesman, followed her.
Police said Kumar asked Veena to return home and she refused. “The couple got into an argument and Kumar reportedly slapped Veena as she told him to leave. He then stabbed her and fled the spot, later surrendering himself to the police,” added the officer.
