Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav was today on his way to file nomination paper Uttar Pardesh in Mainpuri district for Lok Sabha elections but during his journey an inactive hand grenade was found about 14 kilometers away from his venue of filing nomination.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was going to file nominations for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 when a hand grenade was found on the same highway from which Mulayam was supposed to travel. Authorities have reached the spot to look into the matter.

After hand grenade was found tension rose high among local people when this incident reported to police, the whole matter came into limelight after someone noticed that around 14 kilometer away from the place where the Samajwadi Rath accompanying Mulayam and Akhilesh Yadav who were on their way to file nomination papers.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP), “An inactive grenade was found in Mainpuri’s Dannahar police station limits today. Some children took it out of a pond and kept it on road.”
The veteran Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Mainpuri seat. The investigation to ascertain the identity of the accused id underway.
