Islamabad: The Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is considering appointment of National Security Advisor (NSA) to revive backchannel diplomacy with India.
According to PM it’s important to appoint NSA to resolve issues which are hindering commencement of peace talk between two neighbor countries.
Last year, Khan frequently visited India to end up issues so that peace talk could be started.
But India refuses the idea saying that terrorism and exchange of words cannot go hand-in-hand.

NSA’s appointment is being contemplated to reconcile disputes between two countries. According to military officials, any retired military officer was thought to be appointed as National Security Advisor.
For now, relation between India and Pakistan is extremely low. As Pakistan-based Jaish-E-Mohammad suicide bomber attacked a CRPF convoy in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on 14th February.
Consequently, Indian air force made counter attack. Next day, PAF throw down MIG-21 in an aerial combat and captured Abhinandan Varthaman who was later released on 13th March.
After two months of election exercise, Imran is sure that new government will certainly pay attention to the idea of reviving backchannel diplomacy with India.
