Taliban plots Car Bomb attack: 100 Injured

Kabul: A car Bomb exploded on Wednesday when the car stopped at a checkpoint outside the police station of Kabul. 95 people are wounded in the attacks that were taken to the hospital immediately out of which some have serious injuries. The attack was claimed by Taliban.

The blast, in the west of the city during the morning rush hour, sent a huge cloud of grey smoke billowing into the sky. The bomb went off when a vehicle was stopped at a checkpoint outside the police station, interior ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi told on Wednesday.

Taliban Claimed a “recruitment centre” had been attacked by one of their suicide bombers.”A large number of soldiers and police were killed or wounded,” in a statement. Separately, security forces conducted raids in several parts of Kabul overnight and destroyed a major militant hideout, the main security service said.

The health ministry spokesman told that around 95 people have been majorly injured. They have been taken to the hospital for treatment. He said that most among the injured in the car bomb attack were civilians who were ladies and children.
