According to a report, Tata Sky’s analytics team has found that out of the 5 million subscribers logging into the Tata Sky website or app in May, around 70 percent wanted to leave the channels to reduce their monthly bills. Harit Nagpal, managing director of Tata Sky said, “One lakh interactive subscribers returned to our platform in March after the lockdown was implemented. However, 1 million users dropped out in April and more than half of the users did not recharge in May.

Earlier, Tata Sky was providing long term recharge option to its users as part of the Tata Sky cashback offer. Tata Sky, one of the leading DTH companies in India, has introduced a new offer for its users, in which the company is offering two months of free service on a 12-month recharge. Explain that for this offer of Tata Sky, users have to pay with Citibank’s Credit or Debit Card. This offer can be used from both Tata Sky’s mobile app and website. The cashback amount will reach users within seven days after recharging.
