Due to the rise in Corona infection cases, Southern Railway has canceled many special trains.
On the request of the Tamil Nadu government, the Railways has canceled special trains running under the state from 29 June to 15 July.
The number of corona patients in Tamil Nadu is increasing rapidly, due to which the state government has decided to cancel trains.
The Railway Board said on Thursday that suburban trains along with all regular mail, express and passenger train services will be canceled till August 12.
It was said from the railway that all special trains will continue to run. Under this, 12 pairs of trains running on the Rajdhani route from May 12 and 100 pairs of trains running from June 1 will continue.
