Amar Dubey, the right hand man of Vikas Dubey, who was involved in the Kanpur firing case, was killed in the encounter. Amar Dubey had a reward of 25 thousand rupees. Within five days of the incident, the police have succeeded in stacking it.
SP Hamirpur Shlok Kumar said that Amar Dubey’s location was found around Maudha. Amir Dubey opened fire on the police force during the checking of Hamirpur Police and STF this morning.
Amar Dube was injured in a bullet fired from both sides and was rushed to a government hospital where doctors declared him dead.
He said that automatic guns and many weapons have been found from Amar Dubey. Earlier on Friday, two of Dubey’s associates Prem Prakash Pandey and Atul Dubey were also killed in an encounter with police after the incident.
However, the main accused of this heinous crime, gangster Vikas Dubey of Rs 2.5 lakh is still absconding.
