The Gehlot government has set up an SIT to investigate the tape scandal. The SIT will be headed by CID SP Vikas Sharma. The SIT is made up of officers from SOG, ACB and ATS.
The Congress has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the phone tap case, while the BJP has flouted it and demanded a high-level inquiry.
The Gehlot government has registered a case in this as well as many suspected accused have also been taken into custody.
