PM Narendra Modi on Thursday launched the new feature ‘Transparent Taxation: Honoring the Honor’.
PM Modi said that these platforms are the beginning of the 21st century tax system, with major reforms like Faceless Assessment-Appeal and Taxpayers Charter. In this new tax facility, the taxpayer will get the facility of faceless assessment, tax payers charter, faceless appeal.
Also, it will be easier to pay tax, with the help of technology people will be trusted.
PM Modi said that now the chance of acquaintance is over, there will be relief from transfer posting issues.
Both inquiries and appeals in tax related cases will be face-to-face. Along with this, now the Income Tax Department will have to respect the taxpayer.
The country runs with the contribution of taxpayers and gets a chance to progress. The PM continued.
