The hospital said, “There has been no change in the condition of former President Pranab Mukherjee since this morning. He is in an unconscious state and is currently on ventilator support. ”
At the same time, hospital officials have issued a statement after fake news came out on the social media platform about Mukherjee’s health condition.
The former president’s son Abhijeet Mukherjee refuted speculation about his father’s deteriorating health, saying his father was alive.
He tweeted, “My father Mr. Pranab Mukherjee is still alive and hemodynamically stable in his condition! The speculation and fake news being circulated on social media by reputed journalists clearly shows that media has become a factory of fake news in India. ”
