The company suffered a loss of 6.27 billion rupees in the three months till Dec. 31, compared with a profit of 4.9 billion rupees a year earlier.
Indigo which is India’s biggest airline run by Interglobe Aviation Ltd. reported its fourth straight quarterly loss on Thursday due to COVID-19 pandemic.
This loss is quite better from the previous ones as the former deficit was quite large due to halt in global travel.
India had soared domestic travel in October and November due to festivals, according to analysts, while IndiGo also benefited from lower fuel costs.
