India has made the adequate deployment of security forces along the border amid the ongoing tension along the Line of Actual Control with China. Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria said that the arrival of Rafale planes has increased the concern of the Chinese camp. Just as China deployed J-20 fighter jets close to Indian Territory, so also has India deployed jets of French origin.

When asked if the Rafale aircraft had caused concern for China, the chief of the army said that it was definitely going to upset China. China brought its J-20 fighter aircraft to areas close to eastern Ladakh, but when we brought Rafale to the region, he left behind. We know their functions and abilities well.
He said that the Rs 20,000 crore increase in capital expenditure is a major step of the government. Last year too, additional funds of Rs 20,000 crore were made available. This helped the three armies. I think this is enough to build our capacity. An additional Rs 20,776 crore has been spent on procuring arms and other parts under emergency and other provisions. This money has been used to make ammunition for Spice-2000 bombs, Spike anti-tank guided missiles, assault rifles, tanks, and fighter jets. In the Union Budget of 2021-22, the Ministry of Defense has been allocated Rs 4,78,195.62 crore. An amount of Rs 1.15 lakh crore has also been allocated for defense pension which will be given to both military and civilians, who have worked under the Ministry of Defense.
