The Prices of the new Hector have been risen between Rs 6,000 and Rs 44,000. MG Motor India launched the new version 2021 MG Hector in January, the new variant entered the country not only with exterior, but interior changes as well. Surprisingly, the automobile manufacturer has increased the prices of the 2021 Hector in less than a month of its introduction in India.
Like old MG Hector, the new MG Hector is also available in four variants — Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. Not all the trims of the popular SUV have received a price hike. While MG Motor India has increased the prices of the higher variants like Smart and Sharp by Rs 10,000, the prices of the lower grades like Style and Super have remained unchanged.
The 2021 MG Hector gets three powertrain options — 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mill (143PS and 250Nm) with 6-speed MT/6-speed DCT, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol hybrid motor (143PS and 250Nm) with 6-speed MT and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine (170PS and 350Nm) with 6-speed MT.
Some of the increased price models include Petrol DCT Smart Rs 16.52 lakhs (Rs 10,000 increased), Petrol DCT Sharp Rs 18.10 lakhs (Rs 10,000 increased), Petrol DCT Sharp DT Rs 18.30 lakhs (Rs 10,000).
