Should you buy OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8 Pro?
The OnePlus 8T is an excellent deal at that price. Launched only few months back, the smartphone borrows all the major features from a more expensive OnePlus 8 Pro. The smartphone features a 6.55-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 402ppi. The AMOLED display is absolutely gorgeous and comes with high refresh rate. The Snapdragon 865 chipset is more than capable for gaming even after one year it first arrived.
The OnePlus 8T on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture; a second 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a third 5-megapixel camera and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera module on either side manages to do a great job. The overall value attached with this phone makes it an excellent buy for the price.
The OnePlus 8 Pro is the best OnePlus has to offer in India right now. It boasts of top-of-the-line features including a big 6.78-inch QHD+ (1440×3168-pixel) AMOLED panel, with a claimed high colour accuracy and HDR10+ support. The smartphone is equipped with 120Hz refresh rate and also comes with support for wireless charging.
The only thing you possibly need to consider is that we are very close to the launch of OnePlus 9 series. There is a chance that the new smartphone might come with better features for similar price. Even if not, the OnePlus 8 Pro might receive a permanent price cut shortly after. In either case, you should wait before spending on the OnePlus 8 Pro, if possible.
