Lucknow: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will allot as many as 250 housing plots through lottery system in its Vasantkunj Yojna located at Hardoi Road.
According to LDA officials, the lottery system will take place in the second week of March. The development authority in the month of February opened registrations for its 250 vacant plots till February 28. As per LDA records, development authority has received more than 800 applications for the allotment.
The plots have been categorized in four categories as per their size, while cost of the plots is said to be Rs 24,000/sq metre. Development authority is also making a provision to develop housing units for the beneficiaries after allotting them plots, However, fee for the construction work is yet to be decided by LDA.
District magistrate and acting vice chairman of LDA Abhishek Prakash said, “The lottery process is expected to be conducted in Indira Gandhi Prathisthan in second week of March. The benefiacries under the scheme will be given vacant plots under much lower prices as compared to private developers.”
