Lucknow: If you have any bank work like depositing or taking cash out, insurance fee payment, deposition of PPF or EPF, paying of property tax or school fees then you will have to wait for next three days till March 30 to get the work done. If you fail to do so on the following date then you will have to wait for next three days to get your work done.
United Forum of Bank Unions spokesperson Anil Tiwari said, “Between the timer period from March 27 to April 4, banks will only be opened for three days. These three days are March 30, 31 and April 3.”
As per senior bank officials, banks will be closed on March 27 due to fourth Saturday of the month, March 28 is Sunday. While, Holi falls on March 29. The regular bank works will be conducted on March 30 and 31, On April 1, banks will be shut for closing statements for the financial year 2020-21, while Good Friday falls on April 2. On next day all banks will open before being closed on April 4 due to Sunday. Normal work will resume from April 5.
