Dubai authorities have confirmed that women involved in a naked photoshoot on a balcony in the city will be deported, after video of the naked photoshoot went viral online.
Dubai Police have 11 arrested Ukrainian women and a Russian man, who reportedly was the photographer, on charges of public debauchery and spreading pornography by posing naked in the open.
Dubai’s attorney general, Issam Issa al Humaidan, said a probe has been completed in this matter by public prosecutors and those involved in the naked photoshoot will be deported to their countries.
It is learnt that eleven of the detained women were Ukrainian and the photographer had Russian citizenship.
The incident left everyone in UAE shocked as several women stripped naked to pose in a balcony in broad daylight. The footage captured from a nearby building shows several naked women posing on the balcony of a building while a man was filming them.
State-linked newspaper The National reported that it seems that the women stripped naked to pose on the balcony for a publicity stunt.
It is to be noted that the UAE is quite liberal as compared to its Middle Eastern neighbours but it has strict laws when it comes to nudity in public and posts on social media.
