Statue of late Lalji Tandon to be unveiled by UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh

Starting his political journey with a member of Lucknow Municipal Corporation, the statue of late Lalji Tandon ji, a former Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Governor of two states, will be unveiled on his first death anniversary at 10.30 am on July 21 in front of a multi-level parking lot at Hazratganj by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Mayor Samyuktha Bhatia held a review meeting on the preparations for the event and gave necessary instructions to the officials.

Mayor Samyuktha Bhatia said that the Defence Minister and the Chief Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya, Dinesh Sharma, BJP State President Swatanter Dev Singh, Brajesh Pathak along with several ministers from the state government and senior leaders of the state BJP. The mayor said corona was invited to 150 dignitaries from the city following the guidelines.

Religious leaders of all religions will also be present. The Mayor has also invited those who worked with late Tandon ji and his friends. It will be accompanied by public representatives and corporators of the city.

The Mayor further said that the bronze statue of late Tandon ji is 12.5 feet high which has been installed in front of multilevel parking lot at Hazratganj. It will be unveiled on July 21 at 10:30 am
