The Uttar Pradesh Government is leaving no stone unturned in transforming the lives of Vantangiya community. Making their lives much easier and comfortable, CM Yogi has not only provided facilities like roads, houses, RO water machines but also taken care of the education of children living in Vantangiya villages.

Primary and upper primary schools have been constructed in Vangrams located in the state. In these, along with the deployment of teachers, materials for reading and sports are being made available to the children.

As many as five primary and 2 upper primary schools have been set up in five Vantangiya villages of Gorakhpur. While the construction of 17 primary and 9 upper primary schools is going on in 18 Vantangiya villages of Maharajganj.

It is only because of the Yogi Government that children here are getting opportunities to study and make their dreams come true. With this step of the government, many employment opportunities are also getting generated.

Significantly, since assuming power CM Yogi has spared no efforts to change the condition of the Vantangiya villages that have remained marginalised for years. The Vantangiya community of Kushmi forest of Gorakhpur, Tikonia No. 3, Rajhi Khale Tola, Rajhi Nursery, Ambag Nursery and Chilbilwa, that used to crave for basic facilities till seventy decades after independence, are now living a happy life with basic facilities.

The Chief Minister got the status of ‘revenue village’ for the villages inhabiting Vantangiyas which entitled the community members to everything that an Indian citizen can claim. As a result, the villagers for the first time got the chance to elect their government (Panchayat) of the village.

Furthermore, the UP CM, under his regime, provided facilities like housing, roads, electricity, water, schools, Anganwadi centres, and RO water machines in all the houses of the Vantangiya villages.
