After weakening in the invincible Panjshir Valley in Afghanistan, now the Taliban have also decided to follow the path of talks. In this episode, the Taliban sent a delegation of its 40 members to the Panjshir Valley forces for a settlement. However, it is not yet clear what the outcome of the talks was.
These soldiers, led by Ahmed Masood and Amrulla Saleh, are in soldier’s uniform and are patrolling the entire area while sitting in the US-made Hawi. Cars equipped with machine guns are also running with them. These jawans have assault rifles, rocket fired grenades and walkie talkie sets for communication. In the midst of the snow-capped peaks of Panjshir, these soldiers are taking on the Taliban, just 80 km from the capital Kabul.
A Panjshiri warrior said, ‘We are going to rub the face of the Taliban in the ground.’ After this his other companions start shouting slogans of Allah Hu Akbar. This valley, which is strategically important, is originally inhabited by people of Tajik origin. Due to the extremely high hills, this valley provides natural protection to the soldiers of Panjshir. Also, the way to enter this valley is very narrow.
