Shocking news! Manager beaten for not serving free biryani to three assailants

A hotel manager in Pune’s Hingne Khurd area was attacked at his eatery by three assailants for allegedly denying free-of-cost biryani to them.

According to the police report, the incident happened at the hotel located in Vishranti Nagar of Hingne Khurd area on Saturday when three people came to the hotel at around 11:10 pm and attacked the manager, Biraswar Das. The assailants attacked the manager with a sharp object and damaged a computer and some kitchen equipment as well. They also took Rs 940 cash from the hotel with them.

As per the report published by the Indian Express, the manager informed the police about the incident and was immediately taken to the hospital for primary first aid.

The owner of the hotel, Lakshman Sonawane, 24, lodged a complaint against the three attackers at Sinhagad Police Station for the same.

An FIR has been registered by the police under sections 394 (voluntarily causing hurt in attempting to commit robbery), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Indian Arms Act.
