Tim Southee swung the morning session New Zealand’s way with a double-wicket maiden in which he removed Mayank Agarwal and Ravindra Jadeja as India were reduced to 84/5 with an overall lead of 133 runs. Kyle Jamieson was the first to strike today with the wicket of Cheteshwar Pujara. Southee has produced an exhibition of swing bowling and using his experience to keep New Zealand on top. A disappointing first session for India.
