After almost four months, Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 is coming to an end. Amitabh Bachchan is all set to host the finale episode today, December 17, with Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan as special guests. The 13th season was filled with moments that were cherished and set the vibe of the show right. While celebrities took away the limelight in the Shandaar Shukravaar episodes, host Amitabh Bachchan shocked many by opening up about his personal life. Before the grand finale, here’s a look at 10 best moments from KBC 13.

1. WHEN LITTLE ARUNODAI SHARMA STUMPED BIG B

KBC 13 fans, can you ever forget the little contestant Arunodai Sharma? During the kids’ special week, 9-year-old Arunodai sat on the hot seat opposite Amitabh Bachchan and stumped him, literally. Apart from his knowledge, his talkative nature, unlimited nature and bubbly attitude won Big B’s heart, so much so, the actor even shared pictures with him on Twitter – something he never does. Arunodai became an overnight celebrity after the episode because of the way he confidently answered Big B and made the nation laugh.

2. BIG B REVEALS PEOPLE TEASED HIM BY CALLING HIM A ‘CAMEL’

During an episode, a contestant named Jayesh told Amitabh Bachchan that nowadays whenever someone gets ready to go out, he is often teased as ‘Ae Amitabh Bachchan ban ke kahan jaa raha hai (Where are you going dressed up as Amitabh Bachchan?)’ The contestant then asked Big B during his time when he would get ready, whom was he compared to. The Bollywood superstar laughed and said, “I was told Ye Unth (camel) kidhar jaa raha hai.”

3. BIG B RECALLS ANECDOTE FROM MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES SONG

During a recent episode, a contestant requested Amitabh Bachchan to enact a dialogue from Amar Akbar Anthony. The audience cheered for Big B as he said his popular opening dialogue from the song My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves. He revealed that it was an impromptu decision. He was sitting with the film’s director Manmohan Desai while they were brainstorming for the song. When Manmohan he asked Amitabh Bachchan to come up with something for that part of the song, the actor randomnly said, “You are a sophisticated rhetorician intoxicated by the exuberance of your own verbosity.” He further shares that he had no idea what he was saying and just said that.

In the famous song, Big B emerges out of a huge Easter egg singing ‘My name is Anthony Gonsalves. It is from his 1977 movie Amar Akbar Anthony. Watch the song here:

4. AYUSHMANN KHURRANA FELT NEENA GUPTA WAS TOO HOT TO PLAY HIS MOM

On December 16’s Shandaar Shukriya episode, Neena Gupta sat on the hot seat along with Gajraj Rao. During the episode, Neena revealed that she auditioned for Badhaai Ho wearing her house help’s outfit. When she had inquired what she should wear, the assistant director asked her to wear a simple salwar-kameez. In Badhaai Ho, Neena plays the character of a middle-class housewife.

The actress said, “I had some stylish salwar kameez but here I had to wear a normal one. I somehow managed the top but did not have the salwar. While I was still pondering what I should do, I borrowed a white salwar from my cook and went ahead for the audition. The team seemed quite impressed with the look I managed to curate.” Neena also said that Ayushmann Khurrana felt she wasn’t fit for the part as he considered her ‘too hot’.

5. RAJKUMMAR REVEALS HOW BIG B SENT A SPECIAL VIDEO FOR HIS MOTHER

In a Shandaar Shukravaar episode, Rajkummar Rao made everyone emotional by sharing a personal anecdote from his life and how Big B’s special gesture won his heart. The actor said that his mother was a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan. She passed away while he was shooting for his film Newton (2017). Post her death, Rajkummar revealed that he had requested Big B to send a video saying anything about his mother since she always wished of meeting him.
