Toyota India has updated the popular Toyota Inna Crysta lineup to include a new base variant. The MPV now gets a new GX(-) variant that seems to fill the space left by the rest of the range’s pricing increasing by Rs 12,000 to 33,000. The Toyota Innova Crysta GX(-) now costs Rs Rs. 16.89 lakh for the seven-seater variant and Rs. 16.94 lakh for the eight-seater, ex-showroom.
2022 Toyota Innova Crysta base model features, specifications, prices
The new base variants are Rs 29,000 less than the previous base GX variant but are only available with a petrol engine and a manual gearbox. This means the Toyota Innova Crysta GX(-) is powered by a 2.7-litre petrol that makes 166PS and 245 Nm and pairs with a five-speed manual.
The exact features on offer with the Toyota Innova Crysta GX(-) aren’t known yet but expect to see some minor deletions from the GX variants list of conveniences. The Innova Crysta GX gets manual front and rear ACs, fabric seats, an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, LCD MID, tilt and telescopic steering, driver-seat height adjustment and three airbags. Expect the GX(-) to lose the touchscreen for a more basic unit. With this update, prices for the other variants of the Toyota Innova Crysta start at Rs 17.30 lakh for the GX 7-seater MT and go up to Rs 25.32 lakh for the top diesel ZX AT 7-seater.
