While the ongoing Covid-19 cases are on the rise, a new video has emerged which will scare and shock you to the very core. In this video, a cook at a roadside eatery in Kakori on the outskirts of Lucknow has been caught on camera spitting on the dough for making ‘rotis’ (flat bread).
After the 22-second video got viral on social media, the cook who spat on the dough along with his five helpers — Danish, Hafiz, Mukhtar, Firoz, and Anwar were arrested by the police. The other five were a part of the video and were looking at the accused doing the disgusting deed.
According to The Times Of India, the accused have been booked under the Epidemic Act along with charges of the negligent act likely to spread disease or infection and malignant act done to spread the infection. Assistant commissioner of police, Kakori, Ashutosh Kumar told TOI that the dhaba owner Yakub has also been arrested along with the cook.
People on the internet were furious after watching the video and many suggested strict punishment for the said accused.
