For the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began, no building or floor in any building was sealed in Mumbai as on Tuesday.
The last building in the city was sealed in M-East Ward (Deonar, Govandi and Mankhurd), which was also released on Monday, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Covid dashboard.

Meanwhile, BMC plans to lift all restrictions in the coming months with unlocking beginning in phases by February-end. Other than the downward trend of new infections, the vaccination percentage in the city has reached 94, according to a report published by the Hindustan Times.
