The brochure of the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 has been leaked ahead of its imminent launch. The official merchandise, too, has started to arrive at select dealerships which hints that we could hear a launch announcement very soon.
The leaked brochure reveals several styling elements and specifications of this upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycle. The styling cues will include a cast metal headlamp cowl, a badge plate with branding on the fuel tank, an off-set speedometer with Tripper navigation function, and a single-piece seat. Unlike the Royal Enfield Himalayan, the Scram 411 misses the tall-set front fender.
The motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels that are shod in tube-type tyres. The suspension tasks are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back. The anchoring hardware includes single discs on both wheels while the safety net comprises dual-channel ABS.
The mechanical specifications will retain the 411cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The motor is tuned to deliver 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm on the Himalayan. The new Scram 411 should deliver similar power and torque output numbers.
