otorola is all set to launch the new Edge-series smartphone in India on February 24. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be the next flagship device by the Lenovo-owned company. The phone is speculated to be the rebranded version of the Edge X30, which was previously launched in China. There is no confirmation of that as of now, but Indian price details of the smartphones have recently been leaked ahead of the launch. Moto Edge 30 Pro is speculated to arrive with the flagship-level Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
The SmartPrice report says that the Motorola Edge 30 Pro may come with a hefty price tag of Rs 55,999. The report reveals that the price was mentioned on the retail box but the selling price is expected to be lower. However, the information should be taken with a pinch of salt because Motorola has not confirmed anything about the price of the smartphone yet.
That is because the price of the phone is cheaper in China than it is expected to be in India. The Moto Edge X30 starts at RMB 3,199 (around Rs 38,000) in China for the 8GB/128GB variant, RMB 3399 (approx Rs 40,300) for the 8GB/256GB model, and RMB 3,599 (around Rs 42,700) for the 12GB/256GB version. The special edition Moto Edge X30 is priced at RMB 3,999 (approx Rs 47,500) for the 128GB/256GB variant.
