Australian cricketer and the number one batter in the longest format of the game according to ICC rankings, Marnus Labuschagne recently shared a picture from his official Twitter handle talking about his last cup of coffee ‘with the Pakistani sunrise’ as Australia’s tour of Pakistan comes to an end.
It was for the first time since 1998 that the men from Down Under visited Pakistan and their time in the country has been bitter-sweet both on and off the cricket field.
For instance, it was Labuschagne who had shared the picture of eating ‘dal and roti’ for lunch “too” suggesting that the touring cricketers were being served the most basic foods during their stay there.
Labuschagne also went on to become a part of the international cricket meme-culture after his picture from within the dressing room went viral, shortly after he was run-out on Day 1 of the second Test match at Karachi’s National Stadium.
