With several incidents of violence during festivals being reported, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that no religious procession should be organised without permission from the authorities and that the organiser has to submit an affidavit on maintaining peace and harmony during the festival.
The Chief Minister also cancelled leave of all police and administrative officials till May 4 in view of upcoming Hindu and Muslim religious events.
