Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a fresh edition of the Rozgar Mela on Monday. The event is part of a campaign launched by the Modi government to provide 1 lakh jobs at the central level. The Prime Minister will address the conference virtually at 11:30 am.
The PM had first launched the Rozgar Mela in October 2022 where he promised to provide employment to 1 million people and had highlighted his government’s efforts to better managed the impact of the global economic crisis.
In January, PM had distributed 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Government departments and organizations.
The Rozgar Mela is expected to create further employment generation and provide quality employment opportunities for the youth and participation in national development.
