Dushanbe: A powerful earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale on Monday shook Tajikistan, as per reported.
Tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, tremors were felt in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Reportedly, the epicentre of the earthquake was 109 km West of Murghob. Murghob is about 1200 kms from New Delhi.
