DDCA issue: AAP protest outisde Arun Jaitley’s residence

New Delhi: In order to seek resignation from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over alleged corruption in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today staged a protest outside his residence.

Top AAP leaders, including former minister and party MLA Somnath Bharti, were present as protesters shouted slogans like “Arun Jaitley must resign”.

On Monday, Jaitley  filed a defamation suit against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders and sought Rs.10 crore in damages for their statements regarding the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) affairs.

The Delhi government set up a commission of inquiry to probe alleged corruption in the cricket body.
