Mumbai: In a shocking incident, an Indian Railway employee was caught having sex and for recording MMS by hiding his mobile phone in moving train’s toilet which was running between Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus express on Saturday.
A 31-year-old railway employee was arrested on Saturday for trying to film a woman passenger in the train toilet on board the Mumbai-bound Kushinagar Express by hiding his mobile phone in the blinds of the toilet door ventilator.
The incident occurred in the early hours in A-1 coach of the Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus express train. The 50-year-old woman, a resident of Manpada in Thane, spotted the hidden phone and raised an alarm when she found the accused Salim Sheikh standing outside the toilet.
Sheikh, a resident of Kalyan, is employed as an AC mechanic with the railways. He could face suspension from service if found to be guilty.

Co-passengers, who came to the victim’s assistance, caught hold of Sheikh, who initially denied it was his phone. The passengers then informed the guard and a message was sent to the control room at Jhansi.
The Jhansi GRP found more videos of women shot in train toilets.
Speaking to media persons, Ravi Mishra, Inspector, GRP, Jhansi, said: “We have arrested him based on the woman’s complaint, and booked him under IPC 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) We produced him before a local court and he was remanded in judicial custody.”
Another senior official said the involvement of one of their own in such a case is embarrassing for the railways.
