New Delhi: According to reports of the ‘ 4th National Family Health Survey’ which predicted that about 5.6% girls in the age group of 15 to 19 years loses their virginity in urban area of Rajasthan’s Rajkot district and near about 2.7% girls become pregnant in rural areas of the state.

 

 

Now interestingly, if we will look into the detailed report of this survey then we will find that in whole Rajasthan state about 4.2 percent becomes pregnant in urban cities and approximately 7.9 percent in rural areas.

 

 

Most important fact is this that these girls becomes loses their virginity or became pregnant just because of the reason due to child marriage at this particular of young age.

 

Indian girls losing virginity at an age group of 15 to 19 years:

 

According to the National Family Health Survey year 2005-2006, the number of girls getting married in the age of 18 years is 47.4 percent, and 38.7 percent in Gujarat.

 

 

The kind of survey conducted during 2015-16 in which it is revealed that the number of girls in the country becoming pregnant was 26.8 percent, then in Gujarat 24.9 and Rajkot city- 15.4 percent in the district.

 

 

It meant that the marriage of the children was reduced after the ban on child marriage in Gujarat.

 

 

Even after this, there are still some child castes in rural areas. Due to child marriage, girls become mothers at a young age, due to which the death rate of child mortality and pregnant woman is high.
