With large number of devotees were immersed in joy of the birth for their adorable devotee amid with chants of Radhe-Radhe and Shyama Shyam.

Right from early morning the Janmashtami festival celebration was started at Prem Mandir in Uttar Pradesh’s Vrindavan district with thousands of devotees started gathering for their vision of Lord Krishna.

The temple has become synonymous with the fog of Bhajan Sankirtan and was decorated with floral, attractive indigenous flowers and lamps; the Jhakis of lord Krishna looked spectacular.

Though the Lord Krishna was born at 12 o’clock midnight but prayers for his birth welcome was started in the evening with chants of Lord Radhe Krishna ki jai.

Lord Krishna’s Janmashtami festival celebrated with full desire at Prem Mandir:

 

The sound of drum-nagadas, conch shells (Shunk) around the temple began to resonate with loud voice with devotees started jumping in the joy of the birth of their adorable god at 12.30 am, the ideal of lord Gopal was anointed with milk, curd, ghee, honey and Yamuna water.

After performing some religious rituals, the door of temple was closed for followers of Lord Krishna for decorating idol of the god.

At one o’clock in the middle of the Ved Mantras and praise, song open the doors of the Lord’s temple. The devotees gathered outside temple to get a glimpse of the Lord. Once again, the temple was rejoiced and became resonant with the chants of Jay Kanhaiya Lal.

The idol of lord Krishna was offered with Makhan Mishri after this, the devotees started singing; dancing and gave birthday greetings to each other.

At the same side, the video of lord Krishna’s birth was shown to the devotees of Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj during which Maharajshri brief followers of Lord Krishna with birth anniversary Rasilila of their deity who stayed till late night.
