DIWALI 2018! Wishes and Messages for Loved Ones this Diwali

Diwali 2018 is here and we cannot contain our excitement. The festival of lights is celebrated on November 7 and on the same day Lakshmi Pooja will be done. The lovely tradition of wishing each other, Happy Diwali with beautiful greetings and message is also in full swing. Diwali Greetings usually sees colourful images of gods and goddesses, colourful rangolis and diyas.

It is quite common to send photos of Goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu deity of Wealth and Prosperity who is primarily worshipped on the festival. People also send Lord Rama images whose return to Ayodhya after an exile of 14 years started the Diwali celebrations for the first time.

The occasion portrays the triumph of good over evil just like bright lights end the presence of darkness. The lamps denote goodness which drives away darkness and brings light into everyone’s life.
