After the #Metoo moment that started last year many actresses accused Alok Nath of sexual harassment, after which Alok Nath had to face boycott in the film industry.

But after almost a year when Alok Nath was returning to work, once again the news got accelerating that actress Tanushree Dutta who has accelerated the #MeToo campaign, has opened a front against ‘De De Pyaar De’ Makers and Ajay Devgan.
Commenting on Alok Nath’s continuing to work in the industry despite the ongoing case against him, Tanushree said that film makers should’ve re-shot the part of the film featuring Nath.
“Before the posters and trailer, nobody knew that Alok Nath was in the film so if Devgan and the makers wanted they could have just quietly replaced him and re-shot his portions,” the actress was quoted as saying in a statement released by her publicist.
Last year, writer Vinita Nanda, accused him of rape. In January current year, Mumbai Session court granted Alok Nath anticipatory bail, observing that Vinta Nanda “did not lodge the report immediately after the alleged incident for her own benefit.”
