New Delhi: After Bollywood star Sunny Deol, Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans and cricketer Gautam Gambhir, now famous Punjabi and Hindi singer Daler Mehndi is the latest celebrity to take the saffron plunge ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
‘Hogayi Teri Bale Bale’ fame singer Daler Mehndi joined Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday at its Delhi office in the presence of Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari and Union minister Vijay Goel.
For your information let us tell you that BJP’s northwest Delhi constituency candidate Hans Raj Hans son is married to Mehndi’s daughter. After joining the BJP, Daler Mehndi said that he has an old relationship with the party.
After Sunny Deol, Prakash Raj now famous Punjabi singer joins BJP:
The singer joins the league of celebrities who recently took a political plunge this Lok Sabha election. Some of the celebrities who have started their political career this year are- Urmila Matondkar, Sunny Deol, Jaya Prada, Prakash Raj, Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav, Ravi Kishan, and many more such big names of the industry!
BJP’s candidate from northwest Delhi constituency Hans Raj Hans, Union minister and Chandni Chowk candidate Harsh Vardhan and other party leaders were also present.
The singer was accompanied with his daughter at the time of joining Saffron brand.
